Why size comes last, not first

Most accounts are lost by position size, not by bad entries. Fix the loss you accept on a trade — a percentage of the balance — then the stop distance decides how many lots that allows. Doing it the other way round means every trade risks a different, unknown amount.

Trading forex and CFDs on margin carries a high risk of losing more than you deposit. Most retail accounts lose money. Nothing on this page is financial advice.
